Antique Rug Adaptation- Two Facing Doves by My County Keepers

The inspiration for this punch needle pattern design came from an antique New England hooked rug. I took many of the original design features and applied them to use for punch needle. I tried my best to select colors that matched the aged appearance of the rug, though when new, the rug’s colors were most likely more brilliant. I have made this design , in punch needle, several different sizes to fit various frames, chairs, bags, etc. Please feel free to resize as you need or even enlarge the design to make your own hooked rug. The design features of the two facing birds and central flower are classic New England fraktur motifs, sure to bring pleasure and beauty to your home!
